How much does chamber management software cost?

Updated July 2026 · 7 min read
Short answer

Chamber management software is priced three ways: per-member per-month (roughly $0.65–$1.35), a flat monthly or annual platform fee (from around $125/month or ~$2,500/year), or a custom quote. Most vendors also charge a one-off setup fee, and costs tend to rise as your member count, email volume and add-on modules grow.

Three pricing models, not one

Chamber and association software vendors price in one of three ways, and it is worth knowing which one you are looking at before you compare numbers.

Per-member (or per-contact) pricing scales with your roster — cheap for a small chamber, expensive once you pass a few thousand members. Flat platform pricing is a fixed monthly or annual fee regardless of member count, which favours larger chambers. Quote-based pricing means the vendor prices each deal individually, usually after a discovery call, so there is no public number to compare at all.

What the published figures actually show

Few vendors in this category publish pricing at all — most chamber and association platforms are quote-based, priced per deal after a sales call. The exceptions below show how differently the models behave.

Setup fees and what they usually cover

Beyond the recurring fee, expect a one-off setup or onboarding charge on most platforms — MembershipWorks publishes one at roughly $1,250. This typically covers data migration from your old system, initial configuration, and staff training.

Quote-based vendors fold this into the overall contract rather than itemising it, so ask directly what implementation includes and whether migrating your existing member and event data is part of the fee or billed separately.

The hidden cost drivers

The headline number rarely tells you what you will actually pay in year two. Four things reliably push the bill up:

  • Member count growth — per-member pricing is the most predictable model but the one where growth is felt fastest in the invoice.
  • Email and communication volume — several vendors, Glue Up among them, are reported by users on G2 and Capterra to raise costs as email sends and overall usage scale up.
  • Add-on modules — event ticketing, advanced reporting, or finance integrations are frequently priced separately from the core membership module.
  • Contract length and payment terms — annual billing is often cheaper per month than monthly billing, but ties you in for the full term.

Where Chamberflow fits

Chamberflow is quote-based, priced per chamber — we have not published a rate card and will not invent one here. What we can say honestly: Chamberflow is newer than the incumbents in this table, so it does not yet carry the multi-year contract history that lets a Glue Up or a GrowthZone publish a settled price list. Ask any vendor, us included, to show how the quote changes as your member count and email volume grow before you sign.

Frequently asked questions

Is per-member pricing cheaper than a flat platform fee?

It depends on your size. Per-member pricing (e.g. Chamber Nation’s ~$0.65–$1.35/member/month) tends to be cheaper for small chambers under a few hundred members, but a flat annual fee like Glue Up’s from ~$2,500/year can work out cheaper once you cross a certain roster size — do the maths at your actual member count.

Why do some vendors not publish pricing at all?

ChamberMaster, GrowthZone, MemberClicks and Novi AMS are all quote-based, meaning price depends on your chamber’s size, modules needed and contract term. This is common in association software because implementation and support costs vary a lot chamber to chamber, but it also makes shopping around harder.

Are there setup fees on top of the monthly cost?

Often, yes. MembershipWorks publishes a setup fee of roughly $1,250 alongside its monthly pricing, covering data migration and configuration. Quote-based vendors typically fold implementation into the overall contract rather than listing it separately, so always ask what is included before signing.

Does chamber software pricing go up over time?

It can. User reviews on G2 and Capterra for Glue Up note that costs rise as membership, email volume and overall usage grow, even without adding new modules. Ask any vendor how their pricing scales with your roster and communication volume, not just what the entry price is today.
